"Fake Names" is a cinematic, hard-hitting masterpiece by Gary, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs and legendary producer Madlib (together known as the duo MadGibbs). Released on June 28, 2019, as the opening track of their critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated sophomore collaborative album, Bandana, the song sets the tone for the entire project with blistering lyricism and luxurious coke-rap aesthetics.
