"Serenity" is a raw, deeply introspective southern hip-hop masterpiece by Tennessee rapper Starlito (Allatawan Smith), featuring fellow southern lyrical heavyweight Kevin Gates. Released on May 24, 2013, as a standout track from Starlito's acclaimed mixtape Cold Turkey, the song serves as an uncompromising, heavy-hearted meditation on trauma, survival, and the endless pursuit of inner peace amidst a chaotic world.
