Mo3 – Slide On Em

“Slide On Em” is a posthumously released track by the late Dallas rapper MO3, officially featured on the deluxe edition of his album Shottaz 4Eva, which dropped on August 27, 2021, through H$M Music and EMPIRE. Like many of his most celebrated records, the song serves as a prime example of his signature “street gospel” sound, effortlessly blending deeply soulful, soaring vocal melodies with gritty, unfiltered street narratives.

On “Slide On Em,” MO3 delivers a gripping and aggressive anthem focused on retaliation, unwavering loyalty, and the harsh realities of his environment. The track is built on heavy, dramatic production that perfectly frames his willingness to defend his inner circle at all costs. The haunting contrast between his beautiful, gospel-infused singing and the unapologetically violent and dark subject matter is what made his artistry so magnetic and unique within the Texas rap scene.

Following his tragic murder in November 2020, the song’s official release further cemented MO3’s enduring legacy in Southern hip-hop. Accompanied by an immensely popular music video that amassed tens of millions of views, “Slide On Em” quickly became a massive fan favorite. It stands today as a powerful and lasting reminder of MO3’s unmatched ability to translate pain, grit, and raw survival into timeless street anthems.
